We always look forward to fair time-- it seems the perfect way to close the summer and get ready for fall. We enjoyed our fair this year by attending the parade, rodeo, carnival, and can't forget the fair food. It is always such a fun time with late bed times and dirtier than normal kids. But oh so unforgettable.

Brigham City Temple Open House
We were able to visit the temple for the open house. We were all very excited and have been anticipating this for a long time. Blaine and I were ushers the week before and had already walked through it, but taking the kids was a wonderful experience. Jace especially was excited. When asked what their favorite part was:
Jace: riding the bus, the kids room, chandeliers
Jenna: the pretty, sparkly lights

Quick to Grow Up
Our little Leia is not so little anymore. Even though she is small and petite, she is starting to talk your ear off. She is a funny girl who is happy almost all the time and isn't afraid to hold her own with the older siblings. She is a fan of shoes (her 1st word) and is consistently getting into my closet. I think she may walk better in heels than I do.
Hamblin Reunion 2012
We had a blast at our 1st (hopefully) annual Hamblin Reunion this year. We stayed in Bear Lake in a beautiful cabin overlooking the lake. We had a blast visiting, eating, playing games, and visiting the beach. We also rented jet skis and had a fun time. Some really great memories.

Hail the Conquering Hero
Elder Chad Pickup returned home from his mission to Mexico City. We were all so happy to see him. Jenna even warmed up after awhile. Funny to think that she was a toddler when he left. Leia didn't have any hesitation.Great job Chad-- we are all so proud of you.
Pickup Reunion 2012
We held our annual Pickup Reunion at the Uinta County Youth Camp in Wyoming again this year. It was such a hit last year, we all wanted to return. This was actually our year to be in charge and I think it was quite successful. We filled our days with games, puzzles, eating, talking and lots of fun activities. The only thing missing was Chad and Cody..............oh and some practical jokes.

Our "Little" Friend
We found this "little" guy hiding in our tomatoes. Jace sure enjoyed him even after getting pottied on twice. And the frog survived getting dropped twice- a match made in heaven. After letting him go, we couldn't find him again. I guess he smartened up and got the heck out of our yard.
Brigham City Temple
We are getting very excited for the upcoming Brigham City Temple Open House and Dedication. While in Brigham one day, we decided to do a drive by. What a beautiful building.

I was also asked to make railroad hats for the temple celebration. Happy to help, but I had better go straight to the top for doing those things-- little buggers!

Let's Celebrate!!
Jenna is 4 and we had a great day celebrating with our little family. We couldn't even wait until breakfast to get the party started. Jenna is still very petite and brings a lot of love, smiles, girly stuff, and drama to our house. She is so excited to start preschool this year. We love you JJ!
Thanks G & G Hamblin
Finally got Ariel
The birthday girl. The cake looks like its leaning only because the back side is already cut out from her party the day before.
