Jenna's Birthday Party
We celebrated Jenna's 4th birthday with a few of her little girly friends. Technically her birthday isn't until tomorrow when we will do a family party, but you can't have a birthday without friends, right?! Jenna requested a mermaid theme and I was happy to oblige. It was pretty casual and laid back with the girls swimming and having fun outside. We had a fish pond and shared lots of yummy goodies. The jello oranges were a hit with the little girls, but maybe too much work for me to do again. The cake was a lot of fun to make. The frosting technique is supposed to look like mermaid scales and was pretty easy with the inside colors coordinating with the theme colors: purple, blue, green and pink. It probably took me 1-2 hours to make, not including baking time. Jenna has spent the last day just wrapped up in her new toys. Thanks so much to all her friends for being so generous. We had a ton of fun. Can't wait until tomorrow!
Another Year of T-ball Done
Jace finished up his second season of T-ball. It was so fun to watch him learn and grow and enjoy playing. He is already looking forward to "coach pitch" next year. He is very proud of his trophy and has it on display with last year's. Starting quite the collection.
Independence Day & Yep, you guessed it, Another Tooth
We celebrated the 4th of July at home with our friends and neighbors. We hosted a BBQ with food, fun, and friends. The kids stayed entertained by enjoying the homemade root beer and taking breaks to swim. The adults enjoyed just visiting. The girls were so tuckered out that Jace was the only one to enjoy our "fireworks." Jace also pulled out another tooth. We thought that was all of the loose ones, but he found another wiggly one the other day. Hopefully they start growing in.

Swimming Lessons
Both Jace and Jenna participated in swimming lessons this year. Leia seemed content just to watch from the balcony with Mom. They both did really well and are getting better and more comfortable in the water. And of course Little Miss just had to get in on the action.
