We had Stake Conference and took advantage of getting out of church early, and the wind, to break out the kites. It was fun to just relax and let nature do the hard work........that is until Cinderella took out Thomas and tore him clean in half. Then we had an upset little boy. Nothing a little tape can't fix!

Jenna's Nose Incident
As we were preparing for movie night a few weeks ago, Jace's knee had a very close encounter with Jenna's nose. The result was a lot of crying and lots of blood. We were sure that something was broken. She sported a very good looking bruise for the next couple weeks. Luckily when the swelling went down and the bruising went away, she was good as new. Poor girl.
Indoor Picnic
The girls want to have a picnic just about every day. Not that I mind since I don't have to sweep the crumbs off the grass. But unfortunately some days it is just too cold. How do you remedy that? Indoor picnic. It hit the spot and satisfied them for a little while.

Willow Park Zoo
We made a visit to Willow Park Zoo in Logan with some friends over Spring Break. It is a nice, small park with animals from around the area. The kids had a great time. We also enjoyed lunch at one of the many parks across the street. Fun day!

Too Early for a Swim?
I was starting to go through the kids' drawers and put winter clothes away and get out the summer ones. The girls spied their swimsuits and of course, had to get them on. We enjoyed the little fashion show.
Easter 2013
We started out our Easter festivities with our yearly stop at the Bothwell Easter Egg Hunt. They divide up the kids into age groups and we barely made it as we were walking up to the line and the bell rang. Chaos is all that follows for the next 3 minutes, then its over. The kids took home a good stash. They also have a small petting zoo and pony rides which is always fun. We then enjoyed our own family egg (mostly candy) hunt and luckily had good weather. We stuffed ourselves with candy for the next week.
St. Patrick's Day 2013
Those sneaky little leprechauns always leave a trail of messes when they drop in. Jace made the leprechaun trap at school. Inside they left a bunch of green goodies.
Beaver Mountain Ski Trip
Blaine and Jace went on the Ward Ski trip to Beaver Mountain again this year. With some experience under his belt, Jace just took off and has proven to be a great little skier. Night skiing is always fun, especially with a fun place to go for a nice, warm dinner. Luckily the storm arrived right as they were finishing up.
Nothing like a Sleepover
The kids always enjoy the weekend sleepovers in each other's rooms. This weekend we set up the portable DVD player and covered Jace's bunk bed with sheets for the tent effect. The kids love having their own little space. What fun!
New Addition
We can't forget to mention the newest addition to our family. She has been a long time in coming and has been highly anticipated. She has been babied and treated tenderly. We already love her so much and can't imagine life without her. Happy birthday, merry Christmas, happy Hannukah, etc. to Blaine for the next 10 years. :)
