Camping

Blaine was brave and took the older three kids camping up Logan Canyon by himself while Brogan and I stayed home. They took the bikes and hit up some trails there and also visited the Nature Center. They came home Saturday afternoon happy and dirty. I would call that a successful trip.

Brogan's Blessing

We blessing Brogan on Sunday, August 4th. We had an amazing outpouring of support from our family and friends that came to support us. Blaine gave an amazing blessing and we almost maxed out on room for the circle! We enjoyed a nice lunch afterward at the church bowery. Brogan looked so handsome in his blessing outfit.

Jenna is Five!!

Jenna turned the big #5 and we had a small celebration with family at Chuck E. Cheese. I wasn't up to organizing the usual birthday party with a fussy newborn, but she was fine with it. It was just about all I could do to fulfill her birthday cake request of a rainbow. Even though it wasn't exactly what she envisioned, she loved the cake and it was fun to make.  We love our JJ!

Pickup Family Reunion 2013

The same day Brogan was born, Cody returned home from his mission to Richmond, Virginia. That following weekend we went to Burley with Brogan, who was less than a week old, and attended his homecoming report. He did a wonderful job. We also held a mini Pickup Family Reunion and took family pictures. 

America's Favorite Summer Pastime

In this house, summertime means baseball---and lots of it. With the early arrival of Brogan, the kids missed their first week of games, but that didn't slow them down. Jace participated in the Shetland league which is coach pitch and Jenna enjoyed her first year of T-ball. Both of them did great and had great coaches. So four nights a week for a couple of months we could be found at the ballpark. Is this a foreshadowing of what's to come when they get older??
