Finishing the Basement

We are taking on the big project of finishing our basement. New Years Day was the big drywall party and we had 21 people in our house. It was a full day with finishing up the electrical and HVAC and then putting up about 74 sheets of drywall. It was a loud, dirty job but I think everyone had fun getting together. Thanks to all who came. Blaine and I would still be working on it. We opted to hire someone the tape and texture for us since we got a really low bid. They would be able to do it quicker and better than us. So hopefully this weekend we can start painting and plumbing in the bathroom. It is quite a process, but it will be really nice when it is all done.
