Trimming the Tree

We put the Christmas tree up a little earlier than normal this year. We had to do it on a day where I felt good enough and had a least a little energy. Thanks to Blaine who took the reins and kept the kids under control. We give each of the kids an ornament each year representing something they did or enjoyed that past year. It is always fun for each of them put up their ornaments and talk about why they received that one. They are most careful with their own and pick out of special place on the tree. (not that they stay there.) It is always fun to bring in the Christmas spirit.
