I don't know how I missed posting about Jace's first season of soccer. He really enjoyed it and it gave him a good outlet for all of his energy. About 3/4 of the way through the season, he stepped in a hole on the field and hyper-extended his knee. After trying a brace for a while, the doctor decided the best way to help the tendon heal and prevent any further injury in the future was to cast it from the hip to the ankle. He thought it was cool for the first couple hours. Believe it or not, he continued to play soccer although mostly at goalie and finished out the season. What a trooper.
