Messy Bakers

Oh the joys of baking with kids. We had a free afternoon and were in need of a treat so the kids and I got busy making cookies. With so many helpers, it is sometimes hard to keep track of everyone's hands and what they are doing. Soon after we added the 6 cups of flour, I turned to grab something and Jace turned on the mixer. The newly added flour was being whipped out of the bowl and in his rush to turn the mixer off, he accidently turned it on higher. Well, you know the rest. We had a cackling momma and three sad kids. But with a little bit of clean up, ingredients and tears, we had some yummy treats to enjoy later.
