My Grandpa passed away on June 9, 2010 and we had the opportunity to attend his funeral. We were lucky enough to live close by and see him often these last couple of years. He was a veteran and POW of World War II and had a 21 gun salute at his burial. It was very emotional. We lived close to him for much of our childhood and when we moved to Burley, he followed soon after. He will be greatly missed.
